JOHN AND ROBERTA ROWNTREE are hosting the fifth annual AONE drive in South-Central New Hampshire, with yet another different route this year! We’ll tour on Saturday, May 2nd, weather permitting, with Sunday, May 3rd, as a rain date. We will make a decision by the Thursday afternoon before if we need to pivot to the rain date.

We will gather at 10am for a 10:30 departure at The Maple Station Market/Ben’s Sugar Shack in Temple, NH, on Route 101 (8 Webster Hwy, Temple, NH) at the base of Pack Monadnock (see the Map & Directions button above). The Maple Station Market features a deli and gift shop with nice rest rooms and a roomy parking lot.

We will leave the market heading south and west through Temple and Jaffrey, and then head north to Dublin. After views of Mt. Monadnock along Dublin Pond, we will head farther north to Harrisville and Hancock.

From Hancock, we’ll motor through Greenfield and then head south to meet a back road that runs on the north side of Pack Monadnock. We’ll end our drive of about two hours and 54 miles on Route 202 in Peterborough at Brady’s American Grill for lunch.

If you’re coming on the tour, please contact John before Thursday evening, April 30th, at AlfaSpiderVeloce87@gmail.com or 603-417-0687. This is John’s mobile, so phone or text is okay. The Rowntree home number is 603-883-8802.

Il Giro del Monadnock is back as an AONE institution! Come on along!
