October 23-25 (Friday-Sunday)

MARK YOUR CALENDARS! Our second annual AONE Goes to Maine event will be held on October 23-25. Once again, our chapter members in Maine are helping to plan our three-day moving celebration. There are several opportunities to join us if you can’t make it for the entire event.

We will start on Friday morning in Arundel (meeting time TBD) at the Maine Classic Car Museum (see the Map & Directions button above). After a museum tour and lunch, we’ll explore the lakes region west of Portland and have dinner before heading to our hotel in Freeport. 

After breakfast on Saturday, we plan to enjoy a scenic tour on the peninsulas of the Maine mid-coast before heading to the Throttle Car Club in Scarborough to participate in their fall car show. We’ll have dinner together to end our day.

On Sunday, we’ll travel east to Rockport for lunch, enjoy more scenic touring, and end at the Owls Head Transportation Museum.

Our hotel for both Friday and Saturday nights is the Harraseeket Inn in Freeport. We have reserved a room block at a reduced price at this 5-star historic inn. We will have a dedicated parking area and car washing facilities. The Inn has several spots to gather and visit, including outside fire pits (with S’mores kits). Our rate is $219 per night.
