As an avid Italophile, I have owned Italian cars since 1979, first with FIATs and later Alfa Romeos. My qualifications for office include:

  • AONE Director for the last five years.

  • Attendance at several National AROC meetings including this year’s Alfa del Piemonte in North Carolina, and plans to attend future AROC events.

  • I have also participated in AROC Pre-Tours, where I have become well-acquainted with Cindy Banzer and other AROC Directors and AROC members from around the country.

  • I also have extensive track experience with SCCA Club Racing, COM Sportscar Club, as well as many Autocross, Time Trials, and Fast Laps. This is an area we used to support more actively, and it is very attractive activity for younger Alfisti.

  • My technical experience includes Alfa restoration and race car preparation, as well as engine and transmission rebuild to competition standards. I love tech talk. My love for Alfas extends to both vintage and current models, as I currently own a ‘73 GTV, a ‘94 164 Quad, and ‘17 Giulia Ti Sport.

My experience with a variety of car clubs provides a good appreciation of what works and what doesn’t, and where we can improve our club experience and bring some new energy into the club. I also believe that there is a lot of untapped energy in the club and look forward to working with everyone.
