The AONE South Shore
Beach & Waterfront Tour

Sunday, April 26th

Long winter? Ready to hit the beach?  It’ll soon be time to put the tops down and head to the coast for the third annual South Shore Beach & Waterfront Tour!

We will be meeting on Sunday, April 26th, at 10:00 am in the large parking lot at Hingham Harbor adjacent to the bandstand on Route 3A. While waiting for all of the Alfas to arrive, we’ll partake in the Hingham beach and waterfront scene, where coffee, tea, and edible goodies will be served. From there, we will caravan to both Nantasket and Hull beaches (crowds are minimal at this time of year), then on to Cohasset’s gold coast, Cohasset Harbor, and Back Harbor, motoring over to Minot Beach and the Minot lighthouse.

We will then proceed to Scituate Harbor, where we’ll see Egypt Beach and the Scituate lighthouse. From there it’s on to Peggoty Beach, followed by a loop back around to Scituate Harbor, where we will convene for lunch at the Mill Wharf Restaurant, on the water overlooking Scituate Harbor, complete with sailboats and fishing trawlers. There, we’ll have a leisurely lunch and conversation. The Mill Wharf has everything from burgers to seafood, and is reasonably priced and casual — everyone who’s been on one of our South Shore tours loves it!

That’s all you really need to know, but check your email inboxes as the date gets closer for any changes or updates.

Tops down, RPMs up, and let’s go enjoy our cars along the waterfront!Tiny Quadrifoglio

Directions: From the north or south, take Route 3 to Exit 14, the "Rockland/Nantasket" exit. If you are coming from the north, go left from the off-ramp; if coming from the south, go right from the off-ramp. This puts you onto Route 228 north — follow it for 4.5 miles. Just after Arnold Road on the right, Route 228 takes a hard right; instead, get into the left lane and bear left onto Central Street. Follow Central about a mile to North Street (Square Cafe on the right). Take a right and follow North Street until it ends at a stop light (about 1/2 mile). Go left at the light, and after about 200 yards you will see the white bandstand on the harbor/bathing beach on the right - and some Alfas! See the map below. Or use your Alfa’s factory-installed GPS Nav system.
