The AONE Seats and Eats Tour

Saturday, April 4th

Ever wonder what the insides of your Alfa’s seats look like?  Thinking of restoring or repairing yours? Like to eat? Then join Tom Ducibella at his home/shop in Beverly, MA, for the first-ever AONE Seats and Eats Tour on Saturday, April 4th, starting promptly at 11:00 am. Tom is a long-time AONE member, current club Director, and is also known as The Upholstery Doc (www.updoc.net), a business in which he repairs and fabricates seat cushions, boots, tonneaus, carpets, etc. for our classic automobiles.

Tom will show us the elaborate factory construction of Spider seats (60s through the 80s) and what is involved in a correct restoration, from 11:00 am until noon. We’ll then drive up to Rockport for lunch on the North Shore, so please arrive on time!

Due to space limitations at his home, the Tour is limited to the first ten people who contact Tom (call or email to check on the status of the number attending). Others are welcome to join us for lunch — just meet us at the restaurant.

Location: Tom Ducibella & Angela Nannini, 27 Washington Street, Beverly, MA 01915.

Directions: Take Route 128, Exit 22E, onto Route 62 East (Elliot Street), into Beverly center for very roughly 5 miles. Just past the Waters and Brown paint store, take a right onto Cabot Street, go a quarter mile or so, and take a left onto Washington Street. We are a SET BACK BLUE house (#27) with a LONG DRIVEWAY.

Parking: In the long driveway or on the street, but NOT IN THE APARTMENT LOTS next door (NOT at #25 or #29).
