The cover photo of Roger Cassin’s amazing 1900CSS  was taken during the running of the 2008 Colorado Grand. (Thanks for allowing us to do the printed version in color this month, Roger!) The Colorado Grand is a rally covering over 1,000 miles through some of the most spectacular roads and scenery anywhere. The event takes place the third week of September during the start of the fall when the trees are beginning to change (more yellow aspens than the red maples we’re used to, but still beautiful). Entries are limited to 75 sports and racing cars of distinction built prior to 1961. (Roger’s car certainly qualifies, wouldn’t you say?) Proceeds from the event provide serious help for Colorado charities, raising over $2 million dollars since its inception 18 years ago.
