This lucky little guy is the son of AONE member Roberto Rosa’s friend, relative, and business partner, Mimmo Iriti. Roberto found the car on eBay, thanks to a tip from fellow member George Dolak, and couldn’t resist getting it for four-year-old Luca. Roberto writes, “The kid spends as much time at my house as he does at his, and every time we drive into the garage and he sees my Giulietta, he says, ‘Can I drive in it?’ or ‘Can I have one like that when I grow up?’ or ‘My favorite car is an Alfa Romeo.’ So I am getting him ready for the future! Luca loves that little Alfa. He was at my house when I got back from the Elm Bank classic car show with two trophies—a small one for Second in Class and a big one (about four feet!) for People’s Choice. [Congrats, Roberto—that car deserves it!—Ed.] Luca looked at me as everyone was ooo-ing and ahhh-ing and said, ‘Is the little trophy for my Alfa Romeo?’ So I handed it to him and he ran to put it in place right in front of the little car. I’m telling you—he’d be great in an Alfa commercial!”
