for the 14th year in a row, the Northeast Coast Chapter of Fiat Lancia Unlimited (FLU) will sponsor the Italian Car Corral at the 25th annual Vintage Festival at Lime Rock Race Track in northwestern Connecticut on Monday, September 3rd, 2007. The Italian Car Corral attracts 60 to 100 Italian cars of all marques.

To participate in the Corral, Italian car owners must buy discounted tickets ($31.50) to the Vintage Festival through the Lime Rock Park web site using the special discount Affiliate ID number and password provided below. Your ticket to the Vintage Festival will be stamped “Italian Car Corral”, which will admit you to the corral area for free parking. There is no extra charge for registering for the Corral. Italian car owners, upon presentation of the discounted “Italian Car Corral” tickets, will receive a goody bag valued at more than $35 that includes an event program, poster, an event cap, and a Lime Rock 50th anniversary pin. Best of all, the owners of Italian cars who purchase tickets using the discount codes will be admitted on the track for a couple of parade laps to wow the crowd at Lime Rock!

While the Italian Car Corral is held only on Monday, the Vintage Festival is a four-day celebration of antique and vintage sports cars held over Labor Day weekend each year. The Festival includes trial laps on Friday, qualifying races on Saturday, a world-class concours to match Pebble Beach on Sunday, and the vintage races of ten classes of cars on Monday. You can purchase tickets for the days other than Monday at the Lime Rock web site or at the gate.

The Monday ticket is $31.50 and you can either have your ticket mailed to you or you can print your ticket from home. Alternatively, for an extra fee, you can have your ticket sent by FedEx.

It is critically important that you purchase your tickets through Lime Rock using these codes. We must sell at least 25 tickets in order to qualify to have a corral area for Italian cars. The Track will keep organizer Tim Beeble informed of the progress in ticket sales. The parade laps on the track are limited to a number of car corrals, so we must be among the first to meet the threshold of selling 25 tickets. Deadlines: August 20th for mailed tickets and August 24th for tickets printed from home.
