he vote tally from the recent Alfa Owners of New England election of officers revealed that, since there were no write-in candidates, our new President, Treasurer, and Board of Directors are the ones who appeared on the ballot last month, and they’ll assume their official duties as of July 1st. Thanks to all of you who made the effort to vote in this rather uncontested election—it shows that you care about our club!

The changes in your administration include the election of Andy Kress as Director. Andy brings many years of Alfa experience and insight to the mix that will complement the efforts of the other Directors. Welcome aboard, Andy! Stepping down from the Board are Jonathan Kirshtein and Bill Anderson, both citing time conflicts but expressing a desire to help our club out now and in the future. Thanks for serving, guys!

For example, Peter Marino has organized several successful and fun rallies down on the South Shore; Bruce Murray has contributed many technical and travel articles; and Stephan de Pénasse and Eliot Shanabrook have written several articles on our members’ racing efforts.

Those were just a few examples—there’s no reason that you can’t pitch in too! Just contact President Tom Lesko or any of the Directors and let them know that you want to help! There are lots of things that can be done, so choose something that interests you and do it!
