A day at the vintage races is a treat for all the senses: the breath-taking beauty of the wide assortment of historic race cars on the track and in the paddocks; the musical sounds they make at wide-open throttle; the unmistakable aroma of partially burned racing fuel; the powerful rumble felt through the earth as the cars speed by; the succulent flavors from the AONE barbecue. Mere words can’t describe the sensations that 20+ Alfisti felt during the AONE gathering at the New Hampshire Vintage Celebration on August 2nd, so we’ll stick with photos here, which address the sense of sight.
