A day at the vintage races is a treat for all the
senses: the breath-taking beauty of the wide assortment of historic
race cars on the track and in the paddocks; the musical sounds they make at
wide-open throttle; the unmistakable aroma of partially burned racing fuel; the
powerful rumble felt through the earth as the cars speed by; the succulent
flavors from the AONE barbecue. Mere words can’t describe the sensations that
20+ Alfisti felt during the AONE gathering at the New Hampshire Vintage
Celebration on August 2nd, so we’ll stick with photos here, which address the
sense of sight. For sound as well, click here to check
out the video clip of some of the action, including Paul Glynn and his
Giulietta in some very heavy traffic.
Sorry, but we couldn’t figure out how to do an online racing fuel scratch’n’sniff… ![]()
