Photos and captions by Steve Silverstein

Work, work, work. AONE Director Steve Silverstein had to make a day-trip for business to the Detroit Auto Show to do a fit check on the Ferrari Enzo (poor fella). Here are a few photos he brought back, along with his own comments.  Tiny Quadrifoglio

The Ferrari Enzo is based-priced at $675,000 and only 399 will be made in total. Overall, this is a really exciting car and comfortable. Of course, nobody is really going to be too picky about its comfort.
The steering wheel and gauge cluster of the Enzo is very functional. The Sparco-supplied carbon-fiber seats really grip and provide support.
Kevin Durand and myself sitting in the Enzo. We were at the Ferrari display to complete business but we had to take at least one cheesy picture of ourselves with the car.
The Birdcage Maserati was on the Maserati stand to help emphasize the company’s racing heritage. This is such a great car, with all the tubing detail on the interior, and of course the body is gorgeous. Hmmm, maybe someday I can be Skip Hudson, racing a Birdcage on the California tracks...
Everybody had small- to mid-size SUVs this year - even Maserati, as seen in this photo and the one below.
This vehicle was a concept car, but if it were to make production it would seem to only dilute Maserati’s image. In my opinion, Maserati needs to stay focused on creating a great GT and Spyder.
The new Ford GT (showed as the GT40 initially, but due to licensing of the name they had to rename it the “GT”) is even better in person than in the photos. This car should be a hit, thanks to its retro lines harking back to the “glory” days of the Ford racing program.
