The Fourth Annual Pasta Fazoom Rally in Central New York Tears Up the Roads on Septemper 29th

This year, the course had a completely new second half, after lunch at Rosies. The route ended at Jamesville Beach County Park near Syracuse, which included plenty of paved parking, shaded picnic tables, and real full-functioning restroom facilities. (Im making more concessions in order to increase the attendance and comfort of the women participants.)
With the attendance numbers not being quite what was anticipated, there was an excess of cider and snacks upon which all could gorge themselves. This required one to try to get all of Rosies good food to settle and make some more space. Walter Forlini came with a load of homemade Italian cookies, the excess of which I was still eating a week later (one of my perkspeople leave me the leftovers).
A surprise this year was that Vick Autosports, located in Texas, when asked if they would like to send up some catalogs to be passed out, responded with the offer of donating merchandise for door prizes. These consisted of key fobs, hats, hood emblems, a pen set, and more. Almost every vehicle in attendance won something! For Alfa and Fiat parts, check their web site or give these guys a call at 1-800-466-3428they are great bunch and love to hear that people are out there using their cars as they should.
This years Founders Choice recipient was Ron May with his DeTomaso Mangusta. It was a hard choice, with the Browns 63 Alfa Sprint and Bill Sommerss immaculate 164 also in attendance. Mikes wonderful Maserati Indy was eliminated, as I was already awarding him a 10-pound bag of real Italian-made pasta for his submittal of the Pasta Fazoom Rally name to the ICC. Thanks again, Mike.
