The More the Merrier!

It’s heartening and rewarding to see AONE’s membership ranks continue to grow! We’re up to well over 260 members now, up from a low of 195 a mere couple of years ago. That’s progress!
There’s one thing I don’t understand, though: With all these members, one would think that we’d see more of you at our events. We did get around 25 Alfisti at the New Hampshire Vintage Festival, but only ten cars at the really fun South Shore Rallye, a handful out at Lime Rock, eight in our Castle Hill caravan (granted, you were supposed to be pre-’73). If you haven’t been taking in our events, you really should—you don’t know what you’re missing!
Well, you get to make amends at the Great Yankee Candle Run, coming up on Saturday, October 13! This will be the third year running for what’s become AONE’s annual Fall Tour. This year, event organizer Kevin Murphy has laid out the day to include more backroads shenanigans than in years gone by (hey, we are a sports car club!). So plan to join the fun!
A little business note: Many of you are on the AONE email list so that we can remind you of events, announce last-minute changes, and notify you when the online version of Velocissima is available. But more and more of your email addresses have been bouncing lately, for various reasons. Below is a list of addresses (in no particular order) that bounced the last time a message was sent out. Please take a few seconds to look through it for yours, and then send me an email at webmaster@velocissima.com with corrections so that we can keep you up to date. Also, contact me if you haven’t been receiving any messages at all, and we’ll add your address. (Don’t worry—you’ll get no more than two or three emails a month from us, and we don’t make the AONE email list available to anyone else.)
