In the past months, we have enjoyed several well-attended events, including a swap meet/tech session, a car show at the Museum of Transportation, a rally, and the vintage races at NHIS (where the Pratts and Leskos did the cooking and no one keeled over!). The rally was, for me, a first-ever event of this type. I had heard about rallies and seen "rallies" on TV, but never realized that a "fun" rally has nothing to do with fast driving but has a lot to do with having fun, sight-seeing, camaraderie, enjoying your car, and simple math. It was a great event put together by one of our members, Peter Marino. Being a South Shore resident, I thought I knew the surroundings fairly well; however, I got to see parts of the South Shore I had never seen, and had a great time doing it!

I would like to encourage each member to suggest events that you would like to see happen, and perhaps even consider putting one together yourself. It only takes some interest and a little time invested to help make our club even better. Consider being an active participant in your club—we will all benefit from your involvement and have more fun in the process.
