I’m sold ... I’m convinced ... I was a holdout, but as the Gospel song says: "I saw the light, I saw the light, Praise the Lord, I saw the light!!!"
No, not the light at the end of the tunnel—I’m still looking for that one; I mean I saw the light in so far as getting Velocissima on line and then printing it out IN COLOR!
I dropped our editor, Dave Pratt, a note one day last month complimenting him on his day-by-day excerpts covering his, and his brother’s, cross-country excursion in their new Alfa GTV. I mentioned that I printed out every day’s coverage but I kept getting a lot of wrap-around, i.e. the top half of a photo on the bottom of a page and then the bottom half of the same photo on the top of the next page, etc. Very frustrating.
Dave told me I should download a copy of Adobe Acrobat (it’s free - well, at least the basic version is, and that’s good enough for most of us) and that would solve the problem. Plus, he pointed out, I would now be able to download and print Velocissima in one fell swoop, in living color, with nothing more than the click of my mouse.
He’s right! It’s the only way to go to receive Velocissima every month. Email Dave and ask him to send you the hyperlink directly to Adobe’s web site, download Acrobat, and you’ll be singing the same tune: "I saw the light, I saw the light, Praise the Lord, I saw the light!!!"
