AONE All-Member Annual Pot Luck Winter
Dinner Party
Saturday, January 27
Mark your calendars, put an entry in your day-runner, tie a string around your finger, or do whatever it takes for you to reserve Saturday, January 27, 2001 for the annual AONE Winter Dinner Party! This years affair will again be held at the Josiah Smith Tavern in Weston, MA, the site of last years extravaganza and several joyous AONE bashes of years gone by. Its a cozy, comfortable, easy-to-get-to venue for a gathering of Alfisti.
Since last years affair was so well-received, weve decided again that the best way to get the best food for our soiree will beto bring our own food! So its pot luck! If you make a special dish (or can talk your significant other into making one for you), bring it along! Entrees, salads, breads, dessertsanything goes! There will be a kitchen available to warm things up.
The club will be supplying soft drinks, but if you prefer something a tad heartier, feel free to bring your own. And you can be certain that there will be scads of great (and not-so-great) Alfa-oriented door prizes!
We plan to kick things off at 6PM. Significant others are more than welcome. Dress is casual.
Entertainment (in addition to the way we tend to naturally entertain each other) is in the planning stages, but you can count on some Alfa-oriented funperhaps an interesting speaker or two, and some still and/or moving large-screen automotive visuals.
There will be no charge for members and their guestshey, youre bringing the food, right? Your club will be renting the hall, providing the soft drinks, and arranging for the entertainment. While preregistration is not required, we are asking that you help us with our planning by signing up either online by clicking right here or by contacting AONE Director and event organizer Frank Maldari by email or at 978-475-2846. This will allow us to give the Tavern a head count and make our planning go smoother. If you know what you might bring to eat, let us know so that we can try to balance the feast.
Directions to the Josiah Smith Tavern:
From the East: Take Route 128 (I-95) to the Weston/Route 20 exit (Exit 26). Follow Route 20 west for 1.2 miles until you reach the first set of lights. Take a right onto School Street, and travel one block to the town center. Take a left, and the tavern is a white clapboard building on the left.

This promises to be a fun affair, and were
hoping for another good turnout. See you all there! ![]()
