10,000 Alfisti Can't Be Wrong

Some of you may have noticed that the Hit Counter on this, our AONE web site, has rolled over past the 10,000 mark — a real milestone, especially for an Alfa-oriented web site that’s only been in operation a little over a year! What’s more, the number of visitors we’re welcoming has been steadily climbing to an average of about 35 each day! This means that we are visited often, not by just our own members, but also by Alfisti from all around the country — and, in fact, the world, as evidenced by some of the email that I also receive as webmaster.

What does this mean for you? Well, it means that our club is gaining exposure in areas well beyond our local borders. It means that questions you post to our online Forum, and classified ads you place for cars and parts, reach people everywhere. It means that our activities, our members, our cars, and our sponsors have visibility the world over. And it means that, when the time comes for AONE to make its move and bid to host the AROC National Convention a few years hence, we’ll be a known quantity.

So while you're here paying a visit, know that you’re not alone — far from it!

On the local front, our season is off to a running start with our first tech session under our belt, the next one planned, plus track time at Lime Rock, Italian Car Day at the Museum of Transportation, and autocrossing amidst a bunch of Corvettes — all within the next month and a half! There’s something for all of our varied Alfa interests, so I hope to see lots of you in the weeks ahead!
