Notice Any Difference?

Much of this article refers to the print version of Velocissima, our monthly newsletter.  To receive Velocissima, join AROC and affiliate yourself with AONE.

Hopefully, you’ve noticed a marked improvement in the print quality of Velocissima in the last couple of issues. We’ve finally been able to locate a printer who can both 1) accept our input electronically, and 2) not charge an arm and a leg to do it (we’re actually saving a few bucks over what we’d been paying!). After searching all over New England, I discovered Minuteman Press, right here in my home town of Dedham, MA! They’re great people, a family business, have all the latest equipment, are easy to work with, and even enjoy talking about Alfas! (They’re not Alfa owners - yet.) If you have any printing needs, I recommend them highly!

The only downside is that, since they’re right here in Dedham, I’m now also the guy who picks up the newsletters from Minuteman, applies the stamps and mailing labels, and takes them to the Post Office (takes about an hour and two homebrews.). So I’m issuing a Call For Volunteers: If any nearby AONE member would like to help their club by assuming the above monthly task, please let me know - it would be most appreciated by me and by the entire membership! Hey, you’ll even get your name printed in the masthead!

There are still several more months of great driving weather ahead of us, and we have a new, enthusiastic Board of Directors raring to get some AONE events lined up this summer and fall. First off the starting line is the gathering at NHIS for the New Hampshire Vintage Celebration. Woo-hoo! Vintage sports car racing! I wouldn’t miss it, and I hope you’ll be there too! See you in Loudon!
