The Election Results Are In!
Congratulations are in order for the newly-elected Officers of Alfa Owners of New England! Our new President, Treasurer, and Board of Directors will assume their official duties as of July 1.
Running unopposed and
elected President is Tom Lesko, Hingham, MA - 781-749-9132 - tmlesko@mediaone.net. Toms been an Alfa owner
since 1970 when he bought his one and only Alfa, his beloved 65 Giulia Spider
Veloce. He has been an AONE member for over 10 years and a Director for most of that time.
Over the years, he has held several positions, including Velocissima Editor, and
has organized many club events. In addition, Tom holds the distinction of being the only
Alfa Romeo Owners Club Chapter President in the country without an Alfa on the road.
(His Giulia is undergoing a multi-year restoration, but he promises to have it drivable
this year!)
Dave Pratt, Dedham, MA - 781-320-8208 - dave@dvpratt.com, also unopposed, was elected as our clubs Treasurer, taking over Bruce Murrays capably run duties. Tom Leskos first official act will be to appoint Dave as Editor of Velocissima to free up his time for presidential duties. Daves been working on the newsletter for the past few issues anyway.
