In 1985, the late Pat Braden wrote an article for il Quadrifoglio entitled "The Soul of a Club". Pat was a very active longtime member of AROC. He wrote the popular books "Alfa Romeo Owner's Bible" and "Alfa Romeo All-Alloy Twin Cam Companion 1954-1994", and was Editor of Alfa Owner magazine for many years. il Quadrifoglio was a high-quality quarterly magazine published by Alfa Romeo, Inc.; unfortunately, it was only in print for a few years.
Pat’s article chronicles the early days of Alfa clubs in the US, and references Alfa Owners of New England with photos from several events. The photos were taken by the late Gene Ritvo, who was a longtime AONE member and club president. Makes for some good winter reading!
